The St. Louis Astronomical Society periodically hosts regional events with area astronomy clubs or other groups to promote astronomy.  Regional events are usually large events where 2,000 or more visitors are expected to participate.  The larger attendance makes it likely that the audience is drawing from the regional St. Louis area.  The regional draw provides a perfect opportunity for area astronomy clubs to collaborate.
